Insurance Requirements

Insurance Certificates must be on the ACCORD form, as stated in your contract agreement (Article 6- Indemnification and Insurance; Paragraph 6.01).  No Other Form is acceptable.

Type of Insurance

Commercial General Liability & General Aggregate Limit Applies per Project.

Limits:
  • Each occurrence: $1,000,000
  • Damage to rented premises: $50,000
  • Medical Expenses (any one person): $5,000
  • Personal & Advertising Injury: $1,000,000
  • General Aggregate per Project: $1,000,000
  • Products/Completed Operations Aggregate: $1,000,000

Automotive Liability

Any Auto
Limits: Combined Single Limit (each accident):  $1,000,000

     OR

All Owned Autos
Hired Autos
Non-owned Autos
Limits:  Combined Single Limit (each accident):  $1,000,000

Note:  If subcontractor has umbrella liability of at least $1,000,000 then auto liability can be only $500,000.


Worker's Compensation and Employers' Liability

Worker’s Compensation Statutory Limits:
  • Employer’s Liability Each Accident:  $500,000
  • Employer’s Liability Disease – Each Employee: $500,00
  • Employer’s Liability Disease – Policy Limit:  $500,000

Description of Operations
  1. List name and location of Project.
  2. Name KHK Group, Ltd. as additional insured.
  3. Provide Waiver of Subrogation in favor of KHK Group, Ltd.
(Endorsements conferring rights of “Additional Insured” and “Waiver of Subrogation” should be either attached to the certificate or at least referred to within this paragraph.)

Cancellation Notice

Should any of the above-described policies be cancelled before their expiration dates, the issuing company shall provide a minimum of thirty (30) days written notice to Hagler Construction Company, Inc.
